Who am I ?

art psychotherapist

I'm an HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with a background in Clinical Psychology. I am based in Glasgow City Centre but I also offer online and telephone sessions. I have experience in working with children (+6yrs), young people and adults with autism, special needs, trauma, anxiety, low mood, bereavement, life transitions and identity.

Initially, I trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Belgium. It was during my placement working with children with autism that I discovered the potential of art to build relationships, enhance communication and expression. Further, I worked with adults with brain injuries and special needs, offering psychosocial support.

After moving to Scotland in 2016, I pursued an MSc in Art Psychotherapy. During my training I worked with children and adults with various mental health issues including attachment difficulties and complex trauma. Currently, I work part-time as a school-based Art Psychotherapist and combine this with my private practice. Other work experience includes anxiety, low mood and bereavement.
