About me

I grew up in Belgium where I trained as an MSc Clinical Psychologist at Ghent University. It was during my placement working with autistic children that I discovered the potential of art to build relationships, enhance communication and expression. Further, I worked with adults with brain injuries and special needs, offering psychosocial support.

After moving to Scotland in 2016, I pursued an MSc in Art Psychotherapy. I have worked with children (+ 6yrs), young people and adults with various mental health issues. My experience includes working with autism, attachment, (complex) trauma, anxiety, low mood, bereavement and life transitions. I worked part-time as a school-based Art Psychotherapist and combined this with my private practice in Glasgow City Centre.
